Conveniently located just minutes from the Fort Riley military base.The Owls Nest Campground opened in March of 2004. Our goal is to provide a quality camping, living, and stop-over retreat. Our campsites are larger than most with grass, trees, picnic tables, dump stations, 30 or 50 amp electrical utility hook-ups, water, sewer, and 67 cable channels. If you need propane, it is available upon request. Our campground also offers two coin operated washers and dryers, a complimentary shower facility, 24 hour cable internet access, and two fully furnished cabins. Personal on-site help is available from our office staff and camphost.  Ask how you can get get your discount at CHAMPIONS RV & CAR WASH.  Our improvement plans for the future include a group picnic shelter. We stay fairly full so reserve your campsite today!

Fees

WIRELESS INTERNET   Ask at office for details.  Our system is very secure from outside and unwanted access to your computer.

HARD WIRED INTERNET  You can get hard wired internet at your campsite by contacting Cox Communication and giving them your site number.  They will bill you directly for this.  You can use our hard wired internet service by using our courtesy hook-up in our shower and laundry facility that we call the Bird Bath.

Located in the Bird Bath is our Land Line Connection for High Speed Internet.  Here you can bring your laptop and connect instantly for your internet needs.  

 

WIRELESS INTERNET

We now offer High Speed Wireless Internet.  You will be assigned a user name and password, allowing you 24 hour access to our wireless network.  If you do not want to use wireless, don’t worry, you can contact Cox Communications directly and have internet services hooked up directly to your campsite.

ON-SITE PROPANE BOTTLE EXCHANGE

We offer a 20 and 30 pound propane bottle exchange or purchase for your convenience.
